Kathy's Cakes - Kathy started decorating cakes in 1965 while attending Fullerton Junior College program for vocational catering and pastries. She has decorated cakes for other business and on her own since that time. She opened her first cake shop in Fort Bragg, California in the 70’s.

Kathy has worked for Dutch Girl Bakery in Santa Rosa, Buttercream Bakery in Napa, Ramona Bakery in San Pedro, Paulson’s Bakery in Victorville and Bake Shoppe Royale in Anchorage Alaska.

Kathy developed Kathy’s Cakes after several years decorating Wedding and Specialty cakes for Nordstrom’s in La Jolla in from 1995 thru 1997. In 1998 she started her own business and opened shop in 2000. After 7 successful years running her business in the Paradise Hills section of San Diego, she relocated to Hemet in 2007.

Kathy and Sherry met in San Diego and started working together in about 2004 and have been working together ever since.
